Congratulations to the Loretto High School Band!  This past weekend Saturday, September 13, they performed at the Station Camp Marching Invitation in Gallatin Tennessee.  The Band, Color Guard and Percussion all won 1st place honors in their class.    The band director is Darrell Boston and the guard is instructed by Kalee Richardson.   Awesome job band.  Shown with their trophies are (L-R) Ethan Purser, Natasha Spurgeon, Emily Randolph, Alyssa Colman and Aaron Hunt.

Early this morning a car was traveling south and crashed into the cafeteria of Leoma Elementary School. Cafeteria employees were on campus but were not injured.

TN Diamond Gems 04 is proving to be a top notch competitive fastpitch softball team. In their first fall season of play they have so far posted a record of 8-1 including a 2nd place finish in the rain shortened USSSA Diamond Queen Classic in Athens, AL and a 1st place finish in the NSA Double Play tournament in Columbia, TN.

The Loretto High School Band took a short break from their practice on Tuesday, August 12 to donate stuffed animals to the Loretto Fire Department.    The Loretto Firemen give stuffed animals to help comfort children in emergency situations.  Pictured top left:  Loretto Fire Chief Barry Luffman, Fireman Derek Boston and Band Director Darrell Boston.
